Mrs. Laramie Pelston's class won the annual 2nd Grade dodgeball tournament this year. Eight classes participated in a double elimination bracket. Mrs. Taylor Morrison's class came in as the runners up. The winning class received a trophy that they will get to keep in their classroom until the next dodgeball tournament in late spring. Then we will get to see if they can keep a hold of it or if it will move on to another classroom.
A highlight of the event was when the 2nd grade teachers challenged the winning team to a final game. The teachers won against the 2nd grade students. However, some of the 2nd grade teachers were surprised at how fast some of their fellow teachers got out. Fun was had by all. Complete with lots of screaming and cheering.
